It’s official: Wildgate is coming to Steam Next Fest.
Join us June 9-16 for our biggest playtest yet. One full week of unlimited game access, zero invites required. Everyone is welcome! So, bring your friends, build your crew, and get ready for unpredictable battles, unbelievable clutches, and hilariously unhinged stories to last a lifetime. (Plus, space crimes. Lots of space crimes.)
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details. We can’t promise you fame or glory…or that you’ll even make it out alive. But we can promise you this: it’s sure to be one hell of a ride.
WILDGATE NEXT FEST DEMO FAQ
Q. When will the Next Fest demo be available?
A. The Next Fest demo will be available starting Monday, June 9 at 10:00am PT. Players will be able to access the demo through the following Monday, June 16 until 5:00pm PT.
Q. Do I need to sign up to participate in the Next Fest demo?
A. The Next Fest demo will be available to all Steam PC users! No additional sign up needed or invites required. Once live, you can access the Next Fest demo directly from the Wildgate store page, or from its official demo page.
Q. Will console players be able to participate in the Next Fest demo?
A. The Next Fest demo will only be available to Steam PC users; however, anyone can create a Steam account for free at any time.
Q. Will console players be able to playtest Wildgate again?
A. We’re currently working with our first-party partners to set up another playtest for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside our Next Fest demo. This isn’t yet guaranteed, but we’ll continue to share more information and relevant updates as they become available.
Q. Will the Next Fest demo include the full game?
A. The Next Fest demo contains the majority of content currently planned for Wildgate's release; however, additional features and balance changes may be implemented based on feedback and learnings from Next Fest (and/or other playtests).
Q. Will progress from previous playtests carry over into the Next Fest demo?
A. Progress earned from previous Wildgate playtests will not carry over.
Q. Will progress carry over from the Next Fest demo into the live game?
A. There are no plans for progress you earn during Next Fest to carry over into the live game.
Q. What if I have a question that’s not answered here?
A. We’ll share more information about Next Fest in the coming weeks, as details are confirmed.
